Invasive Weed Control from Active Site Clearance
As part of our site clearance service we also carry out Invasive Weed Control, including Japanese Knotweed Removal and Giant Hogweed Removal.
Japanese Knotweed RemovalJapanese Knotweed is the most invasive species in this country. Japanese Knotweed colonises large areas and is difficult to eradicate due to its extensive root system which can extend over 4 meters deep. Legislation restricts the spread of Japanese Knotweed therefore it is categorised as controlled waste and as such needs to be disposed of correctly.
Giant Hogweed RemovalExtreme caution must be taken when dealing with the plant to ensure no poisonous sap comes into contact with the skin to avoid blisters. We can deal with Giant Hogweed Removal in two ways, manual cutting/removal or chemical spraying, depending on the site and client requirements.
